Photographer's Note

The white material is kaolinite with iron oxide (brown haematite) and iron hydroxide (orange goethite) being present as impurities in the matrix, as well as along microfaults and in nodules with concentric layering, forming these fascinating shapes and patterns. It will be interesting to read how different viewers interpret them.
