Around South Africa there are several National Parks. However even smaller lodges has their own private areas where they keep animals. Of course they have permision to hold the animals. These two Giraffes came along the road during one of our game drive last weekend. In the forrest there was another young animal, the twin.

Absolutely beautiful photo. Giraffes are nicely framed by the trees and lightning is wonderful. Thanks for sharing

Wonderful nature picture. Good capture of these giraffes on the track through the forrest with a special combination of light and dust.
Best regards, Paul

Wow, wonderful shot. You were really lucky to catch mother and son on the road. Well done.

A wonderful wildlife image.I like a lot how they pose in this tunnel with light and mist and how they are framed by the typical vegetation. The soft colors are very nice, too.

Sensational shot, Stefan.
The infant giraffe in the company of one parent, with a second parent in the hazy rear, makes a compelling piece of photojournalism, as well as sociology. This could well be a photograph adorning the National Geographic (the publisher of my last book). I like the freshness of the image, posted just a few days after in was shot. The composition, perspective, colors and resolution are all flawless. Congratulations of a first rate photograph.

The photo with a natural frame is excellent, also the smoke behind the giraffes is really exciting ...

Eye to eye with these lovely creatures, I'm delighted just to study them and enjoy their world for a moment. Wonderful point of view and framing. Thank you, Judy

Beautiful family photo! I like the way the trees frame the animals and the dust adds drama and mystery to the image.

lovely shot, very funny :) I can not imagine meeting giraffes just like that - on the road, in front of you! It must be an exciting experience :)
Very pleasant capture, and I like the blur around and the dust (mixed with light - sun rays?) on the road behind the giraffes :)

South Africa is just great for wildlife and this image reaffirms it. Wonderful compostion. The second giraffe looks like it is frowning. Great capture.

You have a spectacular portrait of the mother giraffe and her baby posing for you to photograph them. The POV is fantastic and the light and colors are lovely. It is superb animal photography!

now TE is going amok! I have just noticed that instead of my remarks on your previous post my critique of an image by jemaflor has been inserted once more. I wonder why this could happen. Please don't be confused!
So here I am again to express how I like these beautiful creatures captured so excellently by you. This image is very impressive but also at the same time very funny. Great management of the difficult light!

These are not likely to go out of the way for you. Nice forest setting around them. Looks almost if they are posing.

A great photo! These vertical animals are perfectly placed inside the frame, just a bit off centre. The light seeping through the dust in the background adds value to this picture. Are there any lions here?

This is one of those magic moments you hope for when going on a safari. The giraffes fit perfectly into the tunnel formed by the trees. The hazy light behind them adds to the atmosphere and make the giraffes appear more clearly.

It is a pleasure to see those representatives for the local fauna!
Impressive beasts, some of the most strange creatures on this globe showing one of the consequences of Darwin's theory...
Well framed, and I like how the fine backlight makes them stand out against the dust..!

I discovered your very interesting gallery.
This here is perfect. The pov is great and the scene too.
The light is also very good, with the dust around the two giraffas.

Like everyone else, a fine candid image of these guys in a natural setting instead of a zoo, and they look more content.
