Photographer’s Note
Around South Africa there are several National Parks. However even smaller lodges has their own private areas where they keep animals. Of course they have permision to hold the animals. These two Giraffes came along the road during one of our game drive last weekend. In the forrest there was another young animal, the twin.

Hi Stefan!
A wonderful wildlife image.I like a lot how they pose in this tunnel with light and mist and how they are framed by the typical vegetation. The soft colors are very nice, too.

Sensational shot, Stefan.
The infant giraffe in the company of one parent, with a second parent in the hazy rear, makes a compelling piece of photojournalism, as well as sociology. This could well be a photograph adorning the National Geographic (the publisher of my last book). I like the freshness of the image, posted just a few days after in was shot. The composition, perspective, colors and resolution are all flawless. Congratulations of a first rate photograph.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hej Stefan,
lovely shot, very funny :) I can not imagine meeting giraffes just like that - on the road, in front of you! It must be an exciting experience :)
Very pleasant capture, and I like the blur around and the dust (mixed with light - sun rays?) on the road behind the giraffes :)

Hej Stefan,
now TE is going amok! I have just noticed that instead of my remarks on your previous post my critique of an image by jemaflor has been inserted once more. I wonder why this could happen. Please don't be confused!
So here I am again to express how I like these beautiful creatures captured so excellently by you. This image is very impressive but also at the same time very funny. Great management of the difficult light!
Warm regards
Harriet

Hej Stefan,
A great photo! These vertical animals are perfectly placed inside the frame, just a bit off centre. The light seeping through the dust in the background adds value to this picture. Are there any lions here?

Hej Stefan,
This is one of those magic moments you hope for when going on a safari. The giraffes fit perfectly into the tunnel formed by the trees. The hazy light behind them adds to the atmosphere and make the giraffes appear more clearly.

Hello Stefan,
It is a pleasure to see those representatives for the local fauna!
Impressive beasts, some of the most strange creatures on this globe showing one of the consequences of Darwin's theory...
Well framed, and I like how the fine backlight makes them stand out against the dust..!
Greetings,

I discovered your very interesting gallery.
This here is perfect. The pov is great and the scene too.
The light is also very good, with the dust around the two giraffas.
Regards Stefano
