A lioness having her daily rest in the shade after a ight of hunting. In the Kruger National Park (one of the largest in the world) there lives about 2000 lions. How ever the Park is so large that you can travell a whole day without seeing a singel one of them...

A perfect picture! Very sharp and very close (actually, how close were you?). This lioness looks very relaxed while resting in the shadow. Were there more lions around too? Whatever, this is really a very successful photo.

Seems like this fine lady has found a shady spot for her siesta!
I like the expression in her face, for some reason lions seem so friendly hehehe...
A well framed wildlife scene with good details!

I saw about four lions during a day in the Ngorongoro park in Tanzania (and didn't bring a camera!). Maybe there were more that I just didn't notice because they really blend well with the surroundings. At least this one does. You have captured very well the awesome feelings of seeing one of these marvellous animals up close.

She maybe resting but I think she is looking at you as a delicious lunch. Very nice capture, I hope this is in the wild not in a zoo. Beautiful animal. Great pov and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

Great light: there are no hard shadows and no overlighted pieces (great balance).
