Photographer’s Note
To protect their eggs and babies, female hornbills enter a hole in a tree and seal it from the inside except for a small slit for which the male feeds her through and eventually the young until they are ready to fly out of the nest at which time they break open the seal. I watched this guy work tirelessly making trip after trip to the tree to deliver freshly caught insects to his "wife".
