This is the confluence between Blyde River and Treur River.
Whirlpools produced strange cylindrical holes.
It is very interesting to visit this place. Rocks look like Moore's sculptures, and also sourrounding landscape is nice.

Beautiful Livia !
Very nice shot with all those strange natural sculptures and the uncommon odd holes. The middle rock looks like an alien skull !
Good that you described in the note how the holes are created. One would hardly realize that.

I have never seen this place before and it is beautiful and you have captured it well. I like your POV from high up looking down as it gives a nice feeling of the depth of the holes. Nice.

Bella foto e bel posto, i colori sono quelli giusti e dona bene l'aria di paradiso che devi aver respirato.

A perfect capture of a beautiful place! Was this taken from the bridge or just from the edge? You've framed it perfectly. Thanks for sharing!

In addition to your excellent, framing detail and color; I've never seen a river confluence like this. It looks like the skelton of a dragon or a sea horse. SAG, Pat
