A bit on the fare side but hear goes, the picture shows an unfortunate giraffe by a water hole in Kruger national park. The whole Sean looks about as dry as it was, the guide sad she Haden seen it so dry in a long time and the animals had a hard time. By the way the rain came three days later.

Not many people have the chance to take pictures of nature like this.. For it is nature -not daily life as we know it?
From my point of view there are a few things that make this just an 'ordinary photo'. The colors are somewhat dull. The tree is cut in the top. There is too much going on still so far away, and there is a whole lot of ground between you and the action that really doesn't do the picture any good. What would be perfect on this kind of shot would probably be a more ground level shot zoomed up more close to the vultures and the giraffe.
I'd love a note about the situation when taking this picture. What was your main goal for the picture. Where you you in a car? Was it moving?
