Photographer’s Note

I've played on some of the best golf courses in South Africa but none have compared to the breath-taking, natural beauty of the Cathedral Peak golf course, situated within walking distance of the hotel we stayed at. The fairways have been laid out amongst the picturesque mountain ranges of the area, interspersed with lakes. On many of the holes, one is faced with quite daunting drives down into the valley fairways.
If you look carefully enough, straight up from the white board, you will see the golf ball on it's journey toward the distant "green"....not a bad shot!
I enjoyed my game.....the score was quite good, but I enjoyed the beautiful scenery even more.

Great golf course but mountain course too.
I would like to play there but it is still difficult for me, as my average score is around 100 or less. But landscape is breathtaking one.

interesting photo; very good composition! I like the captured dynamism of the scene, as well as the beautiful landscape :)
I like golf but I have never had a chance to play it... no chance to play it in Moscow :(
