Photographer’s Note
Another photo in my series taken in the Drakensburg mountains, whilst staying at the Cathedral Peak Hotel.
Before breakfast I went for an early walk along this mountain stream so that I could work up a bit of an appetite and possibly capture some beauty in this wonderful mountain setting. This river was only a short 15 minute walk away from the hotel, so I was able to get there and take some shots before the family rose for breakfast.
I took a few different views of the river, but I liked this one best because of the interest in the split, and the fact that I was looking directly up the valley. Ohhhh, what a great way to start the day.

Hello Grant,
Great POV,low shot is giving us a glimpse of those mountains. Good colors and sharpness.
It is good idea to make it a little bit brighter, someone gave me that advice on some of my photos- "sunny creek").
Thanks!

A very nice area for good strolls between the mountains.

Hello Grant,
I do like the nature here, but I see some horizontal lines in the sky there, like an old ND grad post processing being done here. That's a pity, but I like the landscape.

Hi Grant,
Very fresh looking landscape. Fast running stream and green everywhere. Looks like great region for hiking. Wide open views, mountain ranges, and terrain does not look exhaustively steep. PoV where the stream branches was well chosen.
