A Helping Hand Photo

Photographer’s Note

I was out on a short hike from the Cathedral Peak Hotel, and came across a waterfall where one can cool off in the shade of the surrounding trees, or if you want, tan on the sun warmed rocks. It was quite tricky to get across the river without falling into the water, but in this image we can see how best to do it....with a "Helping Hand" from a friend.
I waited before pressing my shutter as I wanted the two of them touching hands directly in front of the main stream of falling water.

Hi Grant,

I would have been standing there to take the picture when he would be falling in ;-). You did not put it to burst mode in shooting? Would have loved to see the next two shots!
