Très intéressante cette photo avec toutes ces maisons dispersées ici et là dans le paysage. Les véhicules doivent être plutôt rares dans le coin mais je crois en voir un en haut à droite. Bel éclairage et bon rendu des couleurs.

No doubt life is hard over there. But all those little houses spread evenly across the hillside make quite a picturesque scene. Good light and harmonous earth tones all over.

This reminds me to the tea picker`s houses around Munnar/India.
A good shot with many fine details to view,

I love the seemingly random distribtuion of the houses. They seem poor houses, yet they have plenty of space and some of the are quite colourful. Some details are superb, e.g. that one person below who is walking uphill. Excellent job! Tfs.

Hi May,

The townships around Drakensberg seem different than most of the others I have seen around South Africa. Although these homes are modest, the people who live there benefit from a spectacular natural environment.

I like the way you have framed your photo, focusing on the village and avoiding to include the sky.

another very interesting visual that you present to us here.
its really cool and also very effective how you have composed this in the wide angle view, keeping all of the homes spread out over the length and width of the frame.
warm light and warm colors make it pop.

I liked this photo very much from the first time I saw it, then lost it and am glad to have found it again. Your point of view, composition and framing are marvellous and you have created a very rhythmical and harmonious image with interesting details all over the frame. I love the natural colours as well as the matching colours of the houses vivified by the lovely warm sunlight. A wonderful picture, congratulations and thank you!
