Photos

Pretoria, South Africa is well known for its jacarandas but few people know that we also have a few white jacaranda trees. There are only a few white jacaranda trees left and they are all well hidden in a street in in the Groenkloof suburb. I believe there are also white jacarandas in Pretoria North but I have not seen them yet.
In this particular photo there is a small white blob in the top of the photo - if you look closely you will see that it is the half moon:-) I had to wait for a clear day to get a photo of the white jacaranda against a clear blue sky otherwise they do not show up well. I will post a close-up photo of the blooms later.
