Photographer’s Note

This friendly fellas is one of two well feeded giraffs at the Lion park north of Johannesburg.

The last week I have had a short but educational visit to SA. In january me and my family is moving to one o fthe suburbs of Pretoria. Since we had short of time but still wanted to do some "touristic" activity we choosed to visit the Johannesburg Lion Park. I know...this is not a lion... The two giraffs was truly something that draw attention to the visitors since they with their long toungs could be feeded by hands.

So good folks after new year 2009 there will be a lot of SA posts..

Title reminds me of Jack Nicholson singing "I'm so pretty, oh so pretty, I feel pretty and witty..." with a big grinny smile on my face and singing to myself :)
Sure she is pretty, so pretty, oh so pretty; winking an eye at you, seems so friendly!

Who said animals cannot speak? This one obviously does - or at least it's trying to send a message. A funny and very original shot, quite remarkable.

this creature really makes me smile! A very charming capture of this majestic animal with excellent sharpness and fine colours. My compliments! But before moving to SA there will be hopefully coming some more impressions from Sweden?
