Photographer’s Note
I thought I would upload something a bit different from my usual today, so I chose this abstract shot of a office building in city centre Johannesburg.
This day I thought I would take my camera around the city of Johannesburg to get some interesting shots of buildings, this proved not so easy as at every turn I was shouted at by security guards telling me I am not allowed to take photos of the buildings. For me this is ridiculous as the buildings are not military or political and should therefore be there for the public to enjoy, as Johannesburg has many beautiful old Art Deco buildings and other interesting architecture.

Hi Wanda,
Indeed, this is quite different from you! This photgraphic approach is usually associated with Cobraphil or Cherryripe, so they will probably come to visit you and cheer up your excellent work.
I like how you've framed the window and the angle under which you've shoot them. Maybe a slight perspective correction would have provide an even more geometrical aspect, by straightening the edges.
Hey!!!! I just discover something!!! Depending on how you look at it, the circles could be "embossed" or "debossed", if you know what I mean...
Have a great week-end dear Wanda!!!

Hello wanda,
This is very interesting. The geometrical approach to this composition is very clever. The circles do make an attractive pattern and the colours of the building create a more pleasant image. Interesting that people are not being allowed to take pictures of buildings. I can understand pictures inside the buildings, just like in the towers where I work, but on the outside is ridiculous. Cheers and thanks foir sharing :-)

Me too, I became hypnotized when I looked at your photo!!! The optical illusion is fantastic. I do not know if someone can feel the same when looking at the real building. Well done.

Hallo Wanda,

interesting framing, somehow abstract, would be interesting too if all the windows have the same reflection but it's like this,

Hi Wanda,
Beautiful graphical composition. I like the variation of the big blue “holes” and the little ones. I like the use of the sloping lines.
Groet Rob
