Photographer’s Note
Maropeng - The cradle of mankind. This is said to be the birth place of human kind as we know it today. It is situated about 50 km west of Johannesburg, South Africa and is the site where some of the oldest fossils of human remains have been found. Sterkfontein caves, another location, is just 10 km away and to this day are still being explored.
