Photographer’s Note
Built in 1929 the Appeal Court replaced the Private Council in London as the highest court in South Africa in 1927, making Bloemfontein the Legislative Capital of South Africa.
I took this photo because I love archtecture, the contrasting colours of the stone the doors and the lamps as well as the lines of the pillars and arches make this a very beautiful building to photograph. NOTE, the reflection of the trees in the glass windows! :-)

Lovely, Mark. I like the contrasts between the warm sandstone and the cool granite of the steps, and your exposure captured the rich tones of the wood well. It really is a beautiful building. Wasn't it possible to shoot this in portrait format? It seems a pity that the three windows above the door are not fully in view. (I am sure that, like me, you must often wish you hade a wider lens available -- I really need a 28 mm or wider quite often when shooting buildings.)
Very nice overall, thanks!

Mark!
I very much enjoy viewing your gallery because all of your photo’s communicate three elements, class, prestige, and elegance.
