Photographer’s Note
They had forecast 20% rain for the day and at 18h10 the rain came down and then the hail, it only lasted for about ten minutes. This picture was taken at the place where we live moments after the storm had passed. I had just got the camera today and decided this was a perfect time to try it out in very low light, I had to edit the photo with a fill flash otherwise it was too dark. The other photos came out blurry, probably due to movement with slow shutter speed. Anyway I thought I would share the photo with you.

You certainly have managed to capture the mood that comes after the storm. The use of flash was good as it helps to show the details of the hail on the ground. This evening shot has a nice magical feel to it. Well done, and welcome to TE, Mark.

Welcome to TE, Mark. You'll see that you'll learn a lot from the friendly people here.
What I like most about this shot is the slightly blue tint to the light, making everything seems even colder than what it probably was.
That light on the right is quite distracting, I tried a workshop for you.
