Somalian boy in the ICRC Medical Point near the Somalian-Kenyan border, near Mandera Camp, on the somailian side, in 1993, after the time of "Black Hawk Down"
During the somalian civil war, the Cross Border Teams of the ICRC and the UNHCR tryed to help the refuegges who came from the other part of Somalia. This boy, and his family walked apx 2 weeks without any personal things,just with the hope of the Survive.

Whats UN Doing what Developing Countries doing ... oh may be there is no oil ...Oh why do we bother...

Horrifying image, but it certainly describes the desperate and declining situation in Somalia. The black and white effect contributes to this climate of desperation and dire need. Good composition and clarity.
