Photographer’s Note
Somalian refuegges in Somalia, near the Kenyan border, near Mandera Camp at 1993, after the time of "Black Hawk Down"
Since the shameful american action in Somalia, nothing changed in this country ... just hunger...
but no oil so no reason...

Hi Attila,
Surprising shot on this site where people mostly try to please each other with beautiful pictures. We need to be reminded of the other side every now and then. Human tragedy is very much present on this one.

Don't know what to say, love that remark to Jerzy, one of my fav books...
A poignant, true photograph of one of the never ending tragedies in humanity.
Thank you

Good photo... Very good photo...
You are right about the Americans...
That phuckin' Bush and his CIA, within the last two thousand years caused incredible suffering to the people of Africa...
Especially Somalia...
Shame to the whole world...
Those people are working so hard and then Americans come and took all the fruits of their hard work...
And they even starve the Somali children, those imperialists...
But, the photo is good...
