The dog's pose parallels the girl's so well, Zofia! It really makes one say, awwwww. They both look a little sad but not permanently so. Great textures as a background. Perfect framing, too. Regards, Ken.

great shot zofia....the title is also apt for the picture...there are some shots in which the moment to be captured is very important and i think you did it here...that moment surpasses all other aspects of the image....good going...sakthi

Hi Zofia,
Great capture of a pause in life. Excellent composition with 3 horizontal lines of the stairs combined with 3 horizontal lines of the old door. Colours are a treat, all in subtle harmony. I **LOVE** the sitting style of the dog!! And I wish these 2 guys - both her and him - a lovely life, even if we know it is going to be hard for them, so hard for them. Zofia, why did not you write anything about this picture? I think it deserves some info, or a story. Cheers, --amz

The dog and the kid couple brings something of a Charlie Chaplin movie into this emotional image. Very natural, no artefacts implied or fake smiles, this is probably why it speaks to us so well.
I will simply point a little lack of contrast, a minor pick regarding this truly excellent image. See my WS.
