[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A typical sunset in a tropical island (In this case in the photogenic island of La Digue).
The beach of Anse Severe is not one of the most known in the Seychelles, but it is a very beutifull beach with several good spots for nice photos.
I took several photos on this beach, this is my second post from Anse Severe.

I hope you like this one.

Hello Pedro--it's not exactly an original subject, so everything has to be perfect to catch people's attention, and I think you've succeeded in that! The colors are ideal, with a gentle fade from soft blue to bright orange. The tree and the rocks are perfectly placed for strong, yet relaxed, silhouettes. Normally I would expect such narrow vertical framing to not be relaxed enough for a tropical sunset, but somehow it's just right, here. A very well executed shot, and the result is a beauty! El paisaje paradisíaco del lugar, las siluetas de la palmera y de las rocas, junto a las montañas del fondo de la imagen y el sol dando los tonos dorados al cielo y unos preciosos brillos en el mar, todo forma una bella composición.

Que maravilha de poente, Pedro! O dourado está lindíssimo e as silhuetas muito bem definidas e negras, o que denota a excelente exposição. O enquadramento é igualmente muito bom e os coqueiros são um detalhe fantástico, espetados neste céu divino. A atmosfera é mesmo totalmente tropical e a foto exala este clima delicioso. Um presente de Deus! O duro é voltar para casa, não é mesmo?

Hi Pedro. I suppose you could call this the 'classic' tropical sunset shot which every photographer has somewhere in their portfolio. Yours is very well executed with good management of the light and superb sharpness on the palm fronds. Cheers . . . David

Love it. I'd have done two things differently - I'd have gone for a 1/2 to 1 sec exposure with filters to blur the water and I'd have kept the top of the palm tree in but I love it. There next week. Can't wait. Which beaches on La Digue and Praslin do you recommend most highly?
