[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Anse Cocos is one of the most beutifull beaches in the Seychelles and in La Digue in particular.
Is also one of the more secluded, because of its difficult access by land.
To go to this fantastic beach you need to go to the beach of Grand Anse (another beutifull beach) an then follow a trek marked with ink in the rocks over the forest to left of the beach. First you will find the beach of Petit Anse and then you continue through the beach (Petit Anse) and climb again to get to other bay.
Be carefull because its very easy to get lost.
The trek to Petit Anse should take 15 m starting at Grand Anse and then more 20m to Anse Cocos.
And finaly after a lonk walk throught the tropical forest you will find the beutifful and secluded Anse Cocos. In 90% of the days you will be the only in 200 m beach bay.
This bech as some nice palm trees hang in over the sand. I think that's the reason for the name "Cocos" = Coconuts.
I tried to include in the photo this palm tree, the white sand, the beutifull turquoise water and the sky, it was not easy.

I hope you like it

HI Pedro,
A beautiful image, so colorful, peacefull, and pleasant. Looks like aperfect place for a vacation.
It reminds me very much of a stamp (I was a stamp collector many years ago..) with the same view from Seychelles. So maybe you were standing in the same point, as that painter was, 50 or 50 years ago..
A very good job.

Good composition and I love the shadows and the colors. WELL DONE

Hi Pedro,
I wish i could be there now! what an amazing place!
Perfect colours and great capture with the shadow of the palm in contrast with the lovely tone of the water.
The light in the palm it's specially nice.
Congratulations.

wow...very nice! The shadows are really nice although I think it would look better if there werent as many clouds in the sky.

Pedro,
This is a great shot with good DOF and sharpness. The lighting and colors are great with good clarity. The shadow of the palm on the sand and in the water makes for a nice image.
TFS,
Asa

A classic tropical beach postcard shot, Pedro. You've captured the turquoise colour of the water well in this and there's a nice play between light and shadow. Cheers . . . David

Vivement les vacances!
Mais ce ne sera pas les seychelles. Dommage!

Bravo.
Cordialement Tita

Hello Pedro,

Probably one of the best Seychelles pictures I have seen ' Izzet keribar

Great shot Pedro... I love the colors!

Bright and vivid- yet not overly so. Excellent sharpness makes this more like your looking out an open window of your beachside hut- then a photograph.

Stop everything- we've found Paradise!
- Dan

Very nice color and beautyfull water.
