[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During our honeymoon to the Seychelles we stayed on la Digue for a few days. Anse (beach) Source d'Argent is voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And very popular amongst photographers. The granite formations along the beach are absolutely stunning! It is easily accessible, it is located inside a "park" (tourists have to pay an entrance fee (*)). It is the most crowded beach on la Digue. Crowded on la Digue means that you will be sharing a kilometre of beach with a couple of other visitors. :-)

La Digue and Seychelles overall is quite a dangerous place for a photographer. Evereything is so stunning that it is quite hard to concentrate on anything. And it is simply impossible to catch everything.

I WANT TO GO BACK ONE DAY!

(*) An interesting thing about the Seychelles is that many places charge (often quite high) entrance fees for tourists. For seychelloises it is free. In a way it is fair. The government of Seychelles is (well, at least still was in 2002) officially quite keen on providing equal opportunity for its citizens (public school and education etc.).

Cropped, resized, highlights adjusted, added tiny bit saturation, light USM, framed

I'm not so sure about the frame, but I wanted to try something a bit different for me.

Hi Jon

Well, I am a bit be-devided with this photo.
At the one hand, the motive is nice, well exposes and good finalised concerning the pp.

Now, what do you want with this blue frame????
One small tip from an pationated graphic designer, "blue in blue" in this respect does not work, it takes too much attention away from the main theme and it is too heavy at all.

Here you could use a white frame, simple but effective.
That is all for now.

Keep on going

Perfecta fotografía, muy clara y el marco le ayuda mucho.

Felicitaciones.

Very nice photo. The colours are fresh and crisp and the composition well thought out.

Wonderful shot, Jon. Those rocks are really intriguing. I especially like them in front of a typically tropical-looking ocean and sky. Very pleasant.

Jon incredible formations! I picked this out quickly in the gallery. What an amazing place indeed. Good details and wonderful shapes. Did you take any photos in the morning sun or at sunset?

Bella foto de un bello lugar, todo un paraiso.
Bonitos colores en una buena composicion.

Hei Jonte,
Wow! Lovely blue colours..impressive view, indeed.
I don´t know why, but that striped stone reminds me of the shark.. which has crashed against to the rock.
Amazing work!
Greetings,
Vanilla

A beautiful photo of this amazing beach! I like very much the blue frame you have put around it - really sets it off! thank you for sharing! Miss the seychelles, don't you?!!!

Hi Jon,

Very nice photo, with good exposure. But I definitely don't like this blue frame !...

But I agree with your note : I was twice in the Seychelles islands, and I want to go back as soon as possible !...
:-)

I definitly want to go back too.
Very good picture, I think I like the frame to.
But i think I would prefer a classic white or black simple border

Beautiful photo - the Seychelles really do have the best beach scenery in the world. I would love to go back too!!!
