(3 other districts cover the two other main islands of the Republic, Grand' Anse and Baie Sainte Anne on the island of Praslin and the inner islands district which comprise the 3rd largest island, La Digue). Its population is estimated at around 3,000. Economic activity is grouped around local traditional farming and fishing. There is some tourism-related infrastructure comprising four small hotels.

Hello Steve

Great panorama..the exposure is right but there seems to be a problem with the sharpness..wish you had taken more of the beach..like the framing..goes well with the blue

Good one..cheers
Sayeed

A shot worth admiring. I like the blue effects in it.

Hi Steve

Great colors. What a beach atmosphere you have set here. Really nice comp with the palm. A little oversharpened but still beautiful. Well done.

Hello Steve,
You get an A+ in composition. Including a swaying coconut against the azure ocean is always worthy of a look. There is some pixelation, probably from oversharpening, but that doesn't diminish my appreciation of this wonderful image. My best regards to you.

Hello Steve,

Even if there is some degree of pixelated/compressed distortions in this image I am aware that the full sized image would not have necessarily had this problem. Although this is an image that is similar to countless others (I am guilty of taking many just like it in Fiji), I believe that it captures the true essence of the tropical mood/persona. Excellent contrasts, good job!
