Misty Ocean

I'm starting to get a bit of a thing for misty water shots - I like the effect of the long exposure with the waves....
I was having problems with the tripod sinking into the sand - this was the best shot I got. PL and ND4 grad for the sky!! Hope you like the pic! |

I think it's a beautiful picture! I like the effect the long exposure has on the waves, so soft, so misty indeed. The colours are stunning!

Hi David.
What I like the most of this picture: the reflection of the late sunlight on the foreground stones. Very nice sphere.

Huub.
I'm off to La Digue on Sunday and cannot wait. I've just bought a stack of ND filters and this photo is serious inspiration to play with them. Exposure is perfect, my only comment is that I'd have liked to see more sky in this shot more along the rule of thirds lines, but well done indeed. I'm hoping for some equally beautiful sunsets.
hey dave
lokes like fog instead of water
I really like this picture; the red light in a sort of halo around the sun and the sea and the rocks, contrasting with the grey mistiness of the waves. It's beautiful.
