Part of our time in the Seychelles was spent on Île au Cerf (Deer Island) two km of the coast of Mahé. I took this shot at the Eden Island Marina the mooring and pick-up point for the short boat trip across to our resort. Our boat was nowhere near as swish as the yacht, Lady Anja II, a South African build catamaran …. Pity!

Looks like a paradise for yachties! Fine composition that invites the viewer to step in and explore further. The lighting is very attractive and the colours excellent, especially that nicely lit turquoise water. Very good clarity.

the name speaks for itself!
A scene like from a paradise with delightful,well-saturated colors and lovely, tranquil mood(even despite quite a lot yachts in the docking in the marina).
I like also the way you composed the scene and how you placed the catamaran and its name in the shot.
Have a nice day

J'aimerais bien être le propriétaire du Lady Anja 11 et pouvoir profiter d'un aussi beau petit port où m'amarrer.La couleur de l'eau est inspirante pour les vacances en mer et la lumière met bien tout en valeur.

this looks like an idyllic place to moor your boat. I am so used to seeing Shoreham Marina which lies in the shadow of the power station that it is hard to image such beautiful surroundings. Love the emerald waters and the real atmosphere of luxury that oozes from this fine shot.
Regards - Brian.

A fine boat, and by looks a fast and luxurious boat! I would like to spend a long time here playing on the boats, but I guess that's the enclave for the rich. (richer than me anyway, haha). This is a great scene from the marina, showing it perfectly in its position with that water, the backdrop and sky. Nice composition to include so much in this.
All the best

Apparently catamarans are all the rage now, especially with the America's Cup races.
I learned to ocean sail on a traditional 27 footer monohaul which looks like a 'barge' compared to the Lady Anja.
Nicely composed and created,

what?? you mean this isn't your privately owned yacht Rosemary! haha
We all wish right!
but then again owning and maintaining a boat is very expensive. I have a friend who owns a 20+ foot boat and they say all a boat is, is a Money Pit!
well, I prefer to just visit the Marina instead of owning a boat at the Marina. lovely colors in the water, very attractive, and the scene looks warm and inviting, wish I were there with you guys.
thanks for this one
