[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a guided bird/nature tour on Cousin (a small island outside Praslin) we caught this one on "film". Fairy terns nest on the naked branch. The (adult) birds were not shy at all, they have no natural enemies. It was possible to walk up to the nesting birds. We were told not to go closer than 1 metre.

There are also "millions" of lizards and skinks on the bird islands.

I appreciate so much the beauty of this photo, the composition, the lovely bird in profile. And your note is very helpful -- makes me want to go there!

I'm not sure what the white glow around the bird is caused by.
