Photographer’s Note
I was fortunate enough to stay at the Club Med/Les Almadies hotel in Dakar, Senegal back in 2003. It is located on the westernmost point of Africa, so if you want to stand on the extreme west of Africa, you must either stay at the hotel or pay a "day fee" (approx 20 USD). The hotel is really nice, the people were friendly, and most of the time you just couldn't beat the weather!
