En arrivant au village d Andiel au sommet de la colline, j ai croise ces trois jeunes garcons de 14 ans, ils partaient pour au maximum trois mois dans la foret, arc pour chasser, parlant un autre langage connu que d eux memes, il s agit de leur initialisation, et au retour, ils ne dormiront plus dans la case avec leur maman, ils seront des hommes.
les jeunes qui sont scolarises ne partent que pendant les vacances scolaires.

While arriving at the Andiel village at the top of the hill, Ihave crosses these three young 14 years old boys, they left for to the maximum three months in the forest, arc to hunt, speaking another known language that themselves, it their initialization, and with the return, they will not sleep any more with their mom, they will be men... the young people who are at the school are leaving only during the school holidays.

... nice reference and interesting scene and story picturing the young boys growing up and the tests they have to pass to be recognized as young men ... at only 14 - well captured moment in time, francine!

cela devait être génial de voir ces hommes à milles lieux de nos préoccupations d'occidentaux... Et puis cette période d'initiation pour les jeunes garçons est vraiment cruciale dans la vie de ces futurs hommes.

Coucou Francine, superbe cette photo, pour le coté découverte des moeurs et coutumes sénégalaises d'andiel. J'pense que sur les 3 y en a qu'un seul qui reviendra les deux autres se seront fait bouffer par les lions ;)
Jolies couleurs bien poussées, c'est fort comme photo, j'aime baeucoup

Salut Francine,

Tres interessante cette photo qui montre l'aspect d'une culture assez particuluier. Le paysage aussi comme le personages sont bien integre dans la composition. Ca m'ai fait penser a un filme sur les Massais qui j'ai regarde il y a quelque temps.

Je ne sais pas expliquer pourquoi, mais j'aime beaucoup cette ci. Comme documentaire elle est très intéressante, techniquement elle est très bien (couleurs, netteté, compo, ect), mais il y a quelque chose de plus qui je ne réussit d'identifier.

Je ne sais pas si cette photo (qui a du etre prise a la hate...) est "parfaite" d'un point de vue technique, mais elle est fascinante comme documentation et tres importante. Une scene qu'on pourrait passer toutte une vie sans jamais la voir...
