Hi Lara,

For some reason I was attracted to this shot. It's simple but yet very beautiful. I like how the waves are rolling in and how the boats are placed on the sand! Beautiful capture, Lara!

Hi Lara,
The atmosphere is charming, melancholic, something dramatic, with the cloudy sky. The compo is good, apart from the cropped boat, it is well balanced.
I don't like the slight tilt, dirty sand and the low sharpness and saturation.
I did a WS just to see if I could do anything about it.

Hi Lara, I like the idea, but agree with the comment that getting closer might have improved it, particularly getting rid of the dark sand and rubbish at the bottom. Cheers, Steve

Hello Lara
This is a simple shot, but attracts me because of the beauty in simplicty. Love the waves as they reach the shore and the two boats, how they're placed...I think cropping of the boat on the left was not a great idea & maybe a little more contrast may have increased the appeal. But the compo. is good Lara & I like it

reminds me alot of some of the beaches here in Egypt ... though we're not on the ocean .... i like the setting pretty much though the focus needs some work... hats off for the new profile pic though ;)

Hello Lara wishinh you all the best for 2008.
I like the atmosphere and colors. Cocposition is very good (except the left cropped boat).
With a bit more sharpness would be more attractive.
