African environment(200 th post!) Photo

Photographer’s Note

The beach of Joal, in the afternoon, at the time of the arrival of the dugouts of the fishermen. A merry crowd invades the beach: there one discharges the fish, further, they are carts drawn by horses which find a passage among crowd and it is also the place of an market where the women sell the fishery product... African environment, coloured and noisy with exclamations and palaver!
This photo corresponds to my 200 th photo posted on TE... and for me, it is always the same pleasure of proposing my travels photos or photo from my area. Same satisfaction to receive your opinions (thank you!), your remarks, your criticisms or your compliments. Glad to discover (or find) the areas of the world through your photos and to divide by giving my impressions and my comments to you.

bravo Jean pour cette 200 eme image et bien sûr les 199 d'avant. Ca passe vite et pourtant 200 c'est un travail colossal.
Je l'aime beaucoup celle ci, cette profusion de couleurs servie par une belle lumière. Je m'étonne même que tu ne l'ai pas postée avant.

Hi, nice documentary shot. It would be nice though to complement this picture with a close-up, showing some faces, making it more personal.

Great scene and great quality. I like the hectic of the market, with in the middle the centre of the scene, the girl in black wearin a bucket, like a scwen 'an sich', free fromthe rest.

Bonjour Jan et un bravo pour cette 200ème à la mode coloniale; pardonne moi le terme mais le sujet est d'actualité en ce moment.
L'ambiance est chaleureuse et bien colorée.
J'aimerai voir un tel marché en France.

Félicitations pour ta 200e!
Eh bien, il s'en passe des choses sur cette image. On pourrait passer des heures à la regarder tellement ça grouille de petits détails. J'aime bien ce genre d'image qui nous montre un aspect de la vie quotidienne d'un autre pays. En plus, tu as parfaitement réussi cette compo aux couleurs éclatantes. Seul petit détail qui me dérange, mais c'est vraiment pour pinailler... c'est le bonnet de Schtroumpf en-bas à droite de l'image! ;-)

Tres belle scene de vie montrant bien l'activitée au bord de cette plage. L'ambiance africaine est très bien retranscrite. Techniquement, il n'y a pas grand choise à redire. Le piqué est excellent et les couleurs plaisante.
Seul peut-etre ce bonnet bleu vient perturber l'oeil mais rien de grâve. Merci pour cette photo!

Salut Jean,et bravo pour ta 200eme et l'ensemble de ta galerie,l'image est trés animée,riche en details,il semble que tu as trouvé un moyen de t'élever pour cadrer au dessus de la foule et ainsi de capter l'ensemble du marché jusqu'au bateaux,j'aime bien le 1er plan avec les panniers de poissons..

Bravo pour les 200 photos publiées. Marché aux poissons haut en couleur, j'aime le premier plan des paniers, les bateaux viennent d'arriver, le poisson est frais. Magnifique atmosphère.

Peuplé, bruyant et en plus cela sent fort...
Comme tiu dis cela semble inorganisé, mais en fait les hommes pêchent et les femmes vendent en position de grossiste vers d'autres vendeuses au détail ou à des transporteurs grossistes qui emmeneront le produit à l'interieur du pays.
Pas facile de prendere une foule mais ici c'est bien fait il y a la masse et le prolongement vers les bateaux et la mer,
couleurs OK

I like this African environment photo, it show the real Africa - a colourful lively crowd of people in a place where they can meet, chat, do business or set sail to another place of this kind. This is something that we cannont find in our European reality, this is just what life in Africa is like...

A truly magnificent and colorful scene in Senegal. I have seen a similar busy market scene, a prize winning photo, shot in Mali, and yours in in the same genre. Thanks to you, we all becomes witnesses to a slice of everyday life in an exotic setting. However, yours frankly is even better than the Mali photo. It is beautifully composed, masterfully exposed. The perspective and definition are impecable.
