Crossing a Peul village during a little trekking. The Peuls ou Fulas, are one of the largest migratory ethnic groups in the world and they are spread over many African countries, such as Senegal. It was a great experience to visit many of their villages and contact with them, as they are really nice and usually welcome visitors really well.
Most Senegalese don't apprecciate cameras that much but they are really nice people and this woman was really amused watching us passing and crossing the fields, something rare in this area.

Excelente trabalho!

I can see why you are so captivated by this scene as much as I do. Excellent daily life shot and good subject matter that you have made a fine colourful shot of rural life. She shines thru' and such great sweet eye connection there, being the most vital element in this shot. The setting is great, depicting the home sweet home as well as great sense of humanity to look at, it is tough looking life though and this makes us step back and be thankful for what we have got and lesson to learn too. A shot out of comfort zone so to speak, a picture worthy of more attention than it has been given, and your effort. I love it, My compliments. Have a great day!!

an delightful portrait of a local lady, spontaneous and comfortable in her daily life setting but with an interesting and graceful reaction towards the foreign people passing by. I like very much the simple composition and the intriguing information, colours and textures it contains. The lady stands out with her stature, clothes and smile and makes us feel welcome and familiar with this place. Sharpness and lighting are very fine. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a good night,

Thji is a really nice photo with good colours and light. The woman is well placed and nicely captured as she is smiling at you. The colours of her clothes and the bucket shine against the brown background. The building is a superb example of traditional architecture. Fascinating. I met, or rather saw, a lot of Peul in Mali and Niger and was very impressed by the way the women adorned themselves, often wearing huge earrings and tattooed faces.

This is another lovely African scene. I like the traditional things we can see in this photo: the woman's clothes, the hut behind her, and the things she uses in her daily life such as the green bucket. The thatched roof of the hut is especially interesting.

really interesting document about Senegal and the living there. The woman in her colorful and vivid dress as well as her facial expression revealing curiosity make your composition outstanding and meaningful.I like this kind of shots as they tell us so much about different cultures and certainly less "touristic" countries.
Have a nice day

a wonderful documentary/educational type of scene, perfectly suited for TE.
the lime green outfit steals the show, but the home in the bg comes in a close second.
I would love to see the inside of that building!
excellent reportage from Senegal

Another fantastic daily image of the villager, and it is so nice to see the people are smiling for the picture, as far as my understanding, African people are not fond of photos. This is just wonderful and the color of her clouds really standout against the brown background.
