Photographer’s Note

The weather was not so fine as always so I decided to travel to the north of the Island. I found these 2 fishermen sitting in their boat and looking to the sky.
After a little chat they told me that there's some days like this that the fish does not byte"...

This looks like a beautiful place even when the weather is not the best. Your composition is fine placing the boats in the foreground with the curving beach leading the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and DOF.

Hello Rui,

The five boats are not in good condition, but be well use through the fishermen.
Little bit difficult through backlight.
Compositon and presentation are lovely.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.

uma praia bem feia essa, acho que essas rochas dão um aspecto poluído bem ruim, mas de qualquer forma a fotografia ficou ótima, com boa qualidade e apresentando bem o local.

One, two, three, four... five wooden boats on the beach, and a couple of fishermen having a talk..!
Well at least that's my interpretation...
A special situation has been captured, with good details, and presented to the audience in this pleasant composition!
