| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here is another shot from the women's weaving project and cooperative around Ruhengeri.
The bonus of shooting with another photographer in this instance is to be able to get shots of people looking at him rather than you. Oddly enough, a few of the ladies caught on to what I was doing and kept a watchful eye on me.
I had to continually play around with my aperture to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Shooting at a higher ISO also enabled me to get a larger depth of field in conjunction to shooting at slightly higher shutter speeds as well. The tricky part was that the women were in the shade, but the background was in fact outside and quite sunny which provides the over exposed background. In most cases, that wouldn't be what i was aiming for, luckily enough I think this turned out comparatively well though.
Anyways, let me know what you think or how i could improve, it would be much appreciated.
See other shots if you want more info on Rwanda, donor aid or the war.
