Picture taken in Butare. Butare is a city which is known for its university ('UNR' or 'NUR', the main university of Rwanda).
Most often, 'muzungu' (white people) go to Ibis hotel (nothing to do with the Accor hotels: Butare's Ibis hotel was there long time before the birth of the chain 'Ibis hotels')
This picture was taken in front of the Ibis hotel: living chicken are carried on bicycles, to be sold... The buyer is sure to have a fresh chicken. :-) |
