Joop, another good portrait but for me it lacks in comparison to the other two. You've captured a great mood of defiance in those eyes but for me the composition itself is nowhere near as strong as your previous two shots with their bold use of empty space.

hi joop,

i had a look at your site, and found it a very good looking and clean site with some good shots, especially in the documentary category. and it doesn't look like every other photographers site. anyway, this is a strong and very beautiful portrait, and i love the subtle red of his lips with the red t-shirt. and, obviously, the expression of the boy and your perspective.
