Photographer’s Note

This is a sunrise view taken by my son Aaron at 6 a.m. in the W national park.
Established as a National Park by Decree in 1954, originally classified as a Faunal Reserve and State Forest in 1953 and recognized as an internationally important wetland site under the Ramsar Convention in 1987. In April 1996 the government of Niger officially notified the project to create a Biosphere Reserve in the W region of Niger, with the 'W' National Park as a core zone.
Inscribed on the World Heritage List as a natural property in 1996.
The Niger River constitutes the north east border of the Park. The Park takes it's name from the double bend of the Niger River between the points where two seasonal tributaries, the Tapoa (north-west) and the Mékrou (south-east), flow into it. The Park forms the extreme peneplain extension of the old massif of Atakora. The soils are generally shallow and infertile with a high iron content, particularly in the upland areas in the interior. Depressions and stream valleys tend to have deeper and more fertile soils while extensive rock outcroppings are found along the Niger and Mékrou rivers. The Park consists of a lateritic peneplain, with rock outcrops of quartz, schists and gneisses. The oldest rocks are of Precambrian age, and the park is cut from south-west to north-east by the Atakora quartzite chain. (The encyclopedia of hearth)

Ciao Alberto una bella foto di un alba con colori normali ma che promette già una giornata molto calda con quel sole già potentissimo.
la canoa in lontananza che solca il Niger è il punto centrale della foto, che avrei tentato di prendere meglio e di farne il vero soggetto della foto.
avrei aggiunto anche un pochino di contrasto sopratutto sui bordi della vegetazione per renderla più nitida.

E il sole si prepara ad accendere i colori dell'Africa... Spettacolare controluce con la silhouette della canoa che scivola sull'acqua come in uno specchio. Sempre bella la tua Africa.

Quelle atmosphere genial, on sent la tranquillite de la journee qui commence a peine, rien ne bouge encore vraiment, on a enbvie de se laisser aller a la meditation. tes belle image.

Quelle merveilleuse image. L'atmosphère est pleine de calme grâce à ces couleurs si chaudes et douces.
Le dégradé de lumière dans les ciel est particulièrement réussi.
Un lieu de contemplation et de méditation.

bravo anche Aaron a comporre questa veduta mattutina del Niger.
Sono d'accordo con Paolo sull'opportunità di contrastare un pochino di più il primo piano, ma comunque la composizione è ricca e interessante, con il fiume la barca ed il sole già opprimente nella foschia.
Spero di poetr visitare presto questo parco! Ma avete trovato molti animali?

Belle photo de ce lever de soleil qui se lève sur ce lac superbe, ce petit bateau avec ces pècheurs est un plus pour votre photo.
