Nice aerial view, Sylwester! It's possible to appreciate the city sprawling over the plains. Great panorama! Well done! Congratulations! Miguel.

I like the warm tones here... interesting urban landscape shot from above...

It is a good picture that carries the sad atmosphere of a capital of a country, even while looking from the air.
Photos from Niamey is so rare.
I recently made a plan to travel to Niger at the news of million people suffering famine, but my relatives begged me to cancel when they learned that a soldier was killed and another abducted in northern Niger when armed men attacked and robbed a goods convoy being escorted by the army near the desert town of Agadez. Also, when we came to pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacist who is a friend of ours and who was from Niger advised my wife to not let me depart because I may get killed while local government wanted to cover up their actions behind the international aid...
So far, I could not confirm such bad things, but from my heart, I wish I could land Diori Hamani Airport...
