| again the bororo, or wodaabe's. they live in mali and niger and algeria and i thinks also in nigeria. they're nomads and very very tough guys (even the tuareg bow their head for their virility and art of riding camels), but during their festivals the guys spend hours in the laps of their women to have their hair done (hundreds of little braids) and a further hour is spend to apply the make-up. and then they start singing, a very hypnotic thing, while they roll their eyes, and they go on for days... i watched them the entire afternoon and evening, went to sleep, woke up around 4 o'clock in the morning in our tent, and they were still at it. amazing folks. |

absolutely awesome.
Congrat.
I thought these were dolls or mannequins till I read your note. Crazy. Your photo is very noisy (high ISO?) and colours a little pale, but you chose a great point of view.

Hi there,
You must have had a highly impressive experience! Fascinating people that one gets to meet very rarely I suppose! Thanks for sharing this picture. It's my dream to go to Niger some day!
Cheers, Léonie
