Hi Don, a scientifically very interesting shot, why are the colors of the starlights different? Some are 'cold' anf some are 'hot' stars, some are 'fast' and some are 'slow' moving', maybe because of their varying distance to Earth. Maybe this is how it looks like when travelling with a time machine :>... thanks for sharing...alex

good star trail shot, but I don't think star trails alone make an interesting enough scene, like sunsets, you really gotta include an interesting foreground subject

Hi Don!

very interesting shot!an interesting result that demonstrates the speed that we walk...

Hi Don,
Very interesting and impressive picture! I was in Namibia last year and it's true that that's where the sky was the clearest I've ever seen.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Don,

The is a spectacular shot of the night sky. It appears that the glow in the lower half of the photograph represents the last hour oo two before sunrise, when there is a bit more light in the horizon. (As a physicist I am especially happy to see the photograph attesting to the clever demonstration of the rotation of the earth, frequently seen in textbooks in astronomy.) You are a very skilled photographer — I saw your website. Bravo!

Warm regards,

Bulent
