Information from Wikipedia:
The Namib Desert is a desert in Namibia which forms part of the Namib-Naukluft National Park one of Africa's largest. The name "Namib" is of Nama origin. The desert occupies an area of around 50 000 km², stretching some 1,000 miles (1,600 km) along the Atlantic Ocean coast of Namibia, which is named after this desert. Its east-west width varies from 30 to 100 miles (50-160 km). The Namib Desert also reaches into southwest Angola.
Sossusvlei is famous place in the heart of the Namib Desert; it is a huge clay pan, enclosed by giant sand dunes. Some of the spectacular hills of sand are, at a height of 300 metres, the highest in the world.

this is famous vision, but you choise a larger cropping than usually.
Very beautifull light and colors.

love the simplicity of the scene, and the simplicty of colours, I find it focuses attention on the shapes and proportions perfectly. smart decision to keep the trees in the frame, they provide a great sense of scale. beautiful gentle curves on the dune, there's something sensual about that. great shot, my compliments.

Witaj Andrzeju,

Podobają mi się te czerwone diuny. Wzruszające są te drzewa, które w dziwny sposób tam trwają. Nie zdawałam sobie sprawy, że to taki duzy obszar - prawie 1/6 Polski.

Ekstra pustynia. BArdzo mi siê podoba. Pustynie jak wiemy potrafi± byæ bardzo ró¿ne. Ta widzê jest taka klasyczna. Fajne kolory i dobry kontrast.

Zdjêcie, które wygl±da prawie jak flaga pañstwowa, sk³adaj±ca siê z trzech kolorów ;). Piêkna ta afrykañska wydma, gdy my¶leæ o kolorze, o formie, o fakturze. Piêkne jest równie¿ to ujêcie, proste w kompozycji, z piêknym ¶wiat³em.
