The Cape-fur-seals are not seals at all, but an eared seals witch is actually a species of sea lions.
They have long ears and thick fur.
They are breathing in cold water of the Bongualla stream that is loaded with fish, and coming to the colony in cape-cross – the first landing place of Europeans in south-Africa, just for breathing and resign their puppies.
Their threats are the Black back jackal that can kidnap small puppies, and mostly man that in cold nights comes to the cape and with a bat murder these innocent creatures just for their skin or fur.
In the picture there are fur seals and black-back-jackal waiting for some easy prey.

Nice composition
Amazing combination jackal and seals I never thought of this combination
Good note.
Nice capture and Good colors
This time I like central composition, nice colors. Good work.
Amazing co-habitation, I like the effect of the wavves on the coast.
Wow.. what a shot. You feel that you are just waiting for the "action" to begin. Every player here seems at rest - but poised for taking on their natural roles - but no big deal about it either. They seem at peace with the nature of things. Life, death and relaxation
