It's always impressive when you are close to a dune it look dramatic, and when you start to walk to go to see the top it's terrible because you thing you won't be able to reach the summit but if you stay quite and walk regularly you'll survive

Great desert shot!
I like how you've captured great shadows and harsh light in the desert. Very good saturation, not only for a desert! and excellent sharpness. It's a nice minimalistic shot, the curves of the dunes are very nice. Your composition adds depth to the total, an I like those little stones giving just a bit more detail to the sand.
Well seen, great capture!

this is a very interesting picture in it's own simplicity. i really love the colors of the dune against the sky. But i'm wondering if there was much saturation done in this picture, because it might look a tad too saturated hence making it look a little unreal. The contrast is interesting but could be slightly lesser?

Impressively beautiful. I like the "technical imperfections" of the deeply dark shadows and the over saturated colours. Well, maybe that blue of the sky is too unreal...
The composition is also very nice in its simplicity.

Toujours impressionnantes ces photos de dunes. Les couleurs sont belles (peut être légèrement trop saturées?) et la netteté impeccable.

Bonjour Christian,
Les dunes de Sossuvlei sont toujours très impressionnantes. Ta photo est très claire et j'aime beaucoup le dessin des courbes de l'arête. Je pense me rendre en Namibie l'an prochain et à voir tes photos de ce pays j'ai vraiment hâte d'y être !
