[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture about 10 years ago, in the Sossusvlei area in Namibia. This is the place with the highest dunes on earth. The picture was taken with a pretty long focal length, so there's no sky on the picture, it's the base of the dunes.

Photo prise il y a 10 ans, dans les dunes du Sossusvlei, en Namibie, où l'on trouve les plus hautes dunes du monde. La longue focale fait que le ciel n'apparait pas sur la photo, il s'agit du pied de dune.

Salut Pascal,
je ne comprends pas que personne n'est encore laissé de messages ici, c'est une composition quasi-magique avec cette dune qui donne comme des effluves de fumées au-dessus des arbres...
C'est assez merveilleux :)

Bonsoir Pascal.
Je suis d'accord avec Philippe. La photo est passée dans l'ombre et personnes ne la commente. Cela arrive plus que l'on ne croit dans des pays "oubliés". Le résultat est fantastique. De la peinture. Un chef d'oeuvre !

Great place, great picture. I love the way the shadows reveal the shape of these dunes (they have a very dynamic aspect). Very nice composition.

Hi Pascal,
I really like this photo. If not for these poor, dried trees, one could think this was not the Earth but perhaps recently disgraced Pluto :) Nevertheless it is impressive that there is life under such unafavorable conditions.
