Placing the tree in the centre of the picture works well - although I generally like o see pictures of Namibia without human trails in this instance it shows that Namibia is becoming visited more than it used to.

Hello Szili,
Very good composition underlining that centering is always a possibility for a nice picture ! The sharpness on the tree and the foreground are excellent. The background with this brown sand with such a magic color does it all !

Magnificent portrait of a dead tree with a beautiful light. I can't dicide if the steps on the dune adds or harms to the photo. Probably it adds, at least something strange, like many trails leading to the tree. I would be curious to see how it works in black & white.

Un arbre mort dans un lieu désolé cela fait une photo magnifique. Pas de ciel mais la dune orangée comme fond c'est très beau.

Excellent picture, this reminds me of your other photo "before the curtain". This is a one-dead-tree-show before a colourful sand dune curtain. I love the beautiful light, the warm colors, the texture of every element, and the central position of the subject. A true "portrait" of this tree, which does look alive, in a dead valey.

great shot Attila, this place is on my wish list.
I can see many steps in the dunes, the photo could have been even better w/o them.
Some day I will ask you for tips for this place.
