BRAVO Emmanuelle !
alors celle-là, dans la série des dunes, elle est grandiose. Je venais de te faire un commentaire sur ta photo précédente en te disant que les arbres donnait l'immensité de la dune mais alors sur cette photo, la présence humaine est encore plus forte. Le vent rend la photo très vivante

le sable est à tes photos ce que la neige est sur les miennes. ce personnage en bas permettant à l'oeil d'envisager la taille du phénomène.

Good action picture from Sossosvlei. When I visited there we had reduced visibility one day then clear the next. i hope your camera survived OK, I had to have a professional clean on mine after 2 weeks on tour there Regards Colin

En plus cela me rappelle de fortes tempêtes de sable au Maroc, personne n'avait osé sortir son appareil photo mais le spectacle était magnifique.

Emmanuelle, tout le monde a pensé à ton appareil photo en voyant cette tempête de sable, mais puisque tu dis qu'il s'en est très bien tiré c'est tant mieux. J'aime le personnage qui donne la dimension de la dune et la force du vent. Photo bien composée. Merci du partage !

Impressionnante cete vue. La personne au pied de l adune donne une bonne idée de la dimension et de la force du vent avec ce sable soulevé de la crête.

Waoh, elle est géniale celle là.
La compo est excellente, les couleurs bien reproduites, le sujet impressionant. Le personnage donne une bonne échelle. Très bien vu tout ça ! J'adore.

Allez, si je voulais l'améliorer un poil... j'ose: je renforcerais les couleurs, un soupçon le contraste (mais vraiment à peine), et un peu plus de netteté.

This is a very dramatic shot you have caught here and has great impact because of the man in the picture. The scale of the sand dune really emphasizes the height of the dune and the scale of the landscape. Good exposure too. Good work.

C'est grandiose Emmanuelle, ce paysage! La dune, avec sa crête apparente est magnifique. Le vent qui joue avec le sable est du plus bel effet. Excellent, l'inclusion d'un humain, qui nous semble si petit. Très belles couleurs également. Du tout bon! Et ça me change des tempêtes de neige de mon coin de pays! :D

On pourrait croire à une manipulation photoshop mais à lire la note, je ne doute pas que l'effet est tout à fait naturel! En tout cas, c'est admirablement cadré et il ne fallait pas avoir peur de sourtir l'appareil photo pendant une tempête de sable!
J'adore aussi l'effet du vent sur le cheveux du type (qui apporte beaucoup à la composition également)
Bravo... Il faudra que je montre tes photos à ma kiné qui est passionnée également des voyages dans les déserts africains...

C'est une photo d'un endroit ou j'aime être mais pas à ce moment là. Tu as pris un rique majeur pour ton appareil photo. On voit d'une manière incroyage le sable se soulever !

Dramatic is the first word that came in my mind. Nice shot. Having the person in the photo helps. Makes me wonder what he's doing...probably cursing that there's sand on his sensor.
Love the dunes myself, you have to have seen it to believe it. Magnificent wonders of the world. I will post some of mine from Namibia in a few days.

What an amazing picture; I should think the blowing sand was a bit dangerous for your camera, so you may have made the right decision to stay in the car. Including the man in the shot gives the scale of the dune

Bravo Emmanuelle! J'entend le vent souffler en regardant ta photo, et je toussote un peu car j'ai l'impression d'avoir avalé du sable... Comme cela a déjà été dit, la présence du courageux escaladeur au premier plan donne toute la dimension de la dune.

Un petit détail cependant: il me semble observer un peu de bruit numérique sur ta photo: une si belle création mériterait de passer par un logiciel comme "neat image" pour la rendre parfaite :)

J'ai vécu des vents de sables lorsque je vivais en Egypte et je songeais surtout à m'abriter au lieu de les photographier.
La composition est magnifique et parfaitement cadrée.
Cependant même à l'abri je parie que vous aviez avalé quelques grains:)

i have had the experience of the most dreaded snadstorm while in saudi..i regret that i was not into fotography that time...loser me!
