De belles teintes et cet arbre au tronc si sinueux fait un très bel effet. Cela illustre parfaitement et joliment ta note.
Par ailleurs bravo pour l'ensemble de tes vues de Namibie, c'est superbe !

Bonjour Jean Pierre,
J'aime beaucoup la frontiere entre sable et terre, de plus cet arbre qui semble retenir a lui seul cette dune est vraiment tres beau, cela devient presque triste lorsque l'on lit ta note de savoir que le combat est perdu d'avance ;o)

Hi Jean
I like the compo with the blue triangle and the ground below. There is a bit lack of contrast between tree and sand, but the picture is very nice.

Je ne connais pas encore la Namibie mais je suis toujours fascinée par les couleurs que je découvre sur les photos de cette région. Celle-ci ne faillit pas à la règle et j'aime beaucoup cet arbre sortant du sable avec son tronc sinueux.

A very interesting composition Jean Pierre. The contrast between the sand and the sky is very striking. I can't make up my mind if I like the shadow in the bottom right hand corner. Is it of a person? If so, it helps to give dimension to the tree. If not, I would have been inclined to clone it out. Cheers . . . David

Bonjour Jean-Pierre,
Après une petite incursion dans ta galerie (il y a des clichés intéressants à voir), je suis interpellé par cet arbre envahi peu à peu et inexorablement par la dune.
Le sujet dramatique est tout particulièrement bien traité grâce à un excellent cliché.

Y'a rien a dire Jean-Pierre, voila un cliche magnifique !! Des couleurs au theme, en passant par la composition (l'ombre me plait bien pour donner une echelle !), c'est une belle reussite. D'autres cliches font effectivement envie de connaitre ce pays ;)

Hi JP,
Lovely colours and structure created by the tree. Though, I think the picture lacks some more sky (which is beautifully blue). The contrast would add more dimention to the photo which is quite flat. Maybe even if there was a shadow of the tree like the one of you taking the picture on the right :-)
Still, I like the photo very much. Well done

Je demande a voir la même vue mais d'un peu plus loin avec plus de ciel et un peu plus de terre ( sol) sinon c'est un pay magnifique , j'avais deja vu des photos de Namibie sur un site !!! en tout cas j'aime la composition et les couleurs .

when i try to compare your description with the image i don't really get the feeling as this bend tree was soon to dissapear under the vast layer of sand...the sand dune looks too still & solid, almost like a wall and does not seem to be moving at all, maybe a wider angle or a different pov would work better...sand tones are really impressive...cheers, artur

Celle ci me plait beaucoup de par la couleur qui est celle de la Namibie, de par ces arbres, sculpture de la nature, et enfin par ta compo avec ce petit coin bleu - bravo -
