In Swakopmund, we went around on the sea to go to see the dolphins, whales. Cormorants followed the boat. They flew off and landed on water around the boat. Here is a first landing. It seems to walk on water....

Great moment you have captured here. Perfect sharpness and the reflection is what makes the picture. I know it must have been hard - but if you had just managed to get the whole reflection in the picture... :-)

Nice landing, this is certainly a decisive moment, you have captured the cormorant with incredible sharpness despite handheld of a heavy lens. A shape of the reflection is also so amazing.

Belle prise de cet oiseau en pleine action, très bonne netteté et attitude ailes déployées, les reflets sont magnifiques comme ces ronds à la surface de l'eau, bel ensemble.

Bonjour Jacques,
Es-tu certain que ce soit un cormoran? Je ne suis pas du tout ornithologue mais pour moi, les cormorans sont noirs. Je pencherais plutôt pour un pélican personnellement.
Mais peu importe, la prise est superbe. J'adore cette arrivée sur l'eau. Le reflet fait de cercles noirs de l'aile est très réussi. C'est dommage que tu n'es pas réussi à capter tout le reflet, mais dans ce genre de cas il faut faire très vite et on n'a pas tjs le temps de faire une cadrage parfait.
