Elim dune, Namib desert
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The first real dune of our trip in the Namib desert, the Elim dune. This one is not the highest one (about 100 meters), but it has an history :
Mr Elim was the owner of the area where stands this dune, and at the end of his life he decided to make a donation of this place to the namibian state. then, his name was given to the dune. |

The colour of the sand is very attractive. I wonder what gives it this orange colour. Interesting perspective with the footprints becoming a strong focal point. The background look very nice as well and the immensity of the more than evident. Thanks Laurent.

Salut Laurent
Super paysage qui m'a vachement marqué quand j'étais sur place.

Salut Laurent
Magnifique courbes formées par la dune.
Ces traces laissées dans le sable me font penser au trace que l'on voit au sommet des montagnes.
Bonne journée
Christophe
Hi Laurent,
Excellent composition - good colours and I don't really care. What I do care about is the feeling this pictures gives me - wide open space, warmth, barren (just a few trees) - that I really love - so thanks for this wonderful capture.
