The Lutheran churchof Windhoek.
Built in 1910 it is one of testimonys of the German colonial time. Since 1990 Namibia is an independent state whose Whindoek, in the center of the country, is the capital, the town counts approximately 280.000 inhabitants.

Jean,
Great shot of this fine architecture. Your POV is great showing the church from an angle that gives the scene depth. The palm tree provides nice framing for the shot. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness.

Cette église qui a du style ressort vraiment bien sur ce ciel bleu magnifique, merci au polarisat... Joli cadrage avec ces deux feuilles de palmier qui ajoute un petite touche d'exotisme appréciable. Il y a même la lune qui s'est invitée. Photo de qualité et intéressante, merci Jean.

Cette église étonnante , dans la lumière du soir (?) , est vraiment bien cadrée . Le ciel d'un bleu profond constitue un bel arrière plan . les feuilles de palmiers , ce n'est pas mal . Etait il possible d'en mettre un peu plus ?

La prise de vue de coin permet de voir avec précision les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de l'église luthérienne de Windhoek. Les arbres cadrent bien l'église. L'utilisation du filtre polarisant donne de belles teintes aux couleurs. Bonne journée.

Le ciel polarisé ajoute du drama à cet edifice réligieux.

Bonsoir Jean,
Le cadrage vertical est parfaitement adapté à la composition. La luminosité ambiante est parfaite et les parties blanches de l édifice en ressortent valorisées.
Un beau fond de ciel bleu et bien vu aussi d'avoir rajouter les feuilles de palmier.

ce n'est pas banal de trouver une telle église luthérienne en namibie, un architecture qui tranche dans ce pays, elle est bien mise en valeur par ce ciel parfait, bon boulot

On perçoit effectivement l'influence germanique dans la construction. Bon POV et superbe éclairage sur l'église avec un ciel d'un bleu profond en arrière plan....tout y est (je ne sais pas si j'aurais gardé la route?)

Hello Jean,

Que de contraste ici ! La lune dans le ciel est un plus non négligeable mais le point important, c'est ce contraste superbe entre les pierres claires et ce ciel polarisé. J'aurais presque intégré une plus grande partie du palmier sur la droite.

A very attactive photo. I love the strong lighting and and colours. The inclusion of the palm leaves is great and tells us that this is not northern Europe but a country with warmer climate. The vertical format is perfect here. TFS and have a nice weekend!

It seems that in Namibia there is the same clear light and atmosphere than in northern Europe!
That blue sky and the incredible clearness of the church are ashtoning! The architecture is quite outstanding but more so the fine intense colours of this remarkable composition.

Jusqu'à présent je n'ai pas vu beaucoup de photos de l'architecture coloniale allemande. Mais ici je trouve une photo de splendeur : l'architecture très jolie, présentée magnifiquement avec les feuilles de la paume et avec la lune dans l'air bleu foncé.

Very intersting architecture and so strange for a African country. Only colonialisme allows such things! I realy like the well saturated sky frames the building and also the palm trees leafs at the right.

How crystal clear! Captured strikingly Namibian Papagolfades with extreme sharpness and superb definition of the most intricate detail. Leaves of palm tree and the moon make a good accent.
