Photographer's Note

On our trip thru Namibia we ended up in a small location called Solitaire after 200 kms on gravel roads. Due to the gps and acordning to Lonely Planet this was a stop you really had to make due to the fact that tere was not that many options for fueling the car. However the petrol was finished and we got the last litre of diesel in our tank.

Except the petrol station there was a lovely small but, as in many places in Namibia, German inspired café who served a fantastic apple cake! At the entrance there was a number of car wrecks and some of them were really photogenic! In some way I believe they remains from older days due to lack of fuel.

In this photo I used my circ pol filter.
